The organization “Together together / Zajedno zajedno” has established a fully functional service for the administration of free legal aid. The necessary procedures and documents have been created and the technical assistance in the form of a specialized law office is now engaged.

In the first three months since it’s opening, the service has had more than 30 users (by phone, email and personal contacts), however, we are eagerly preparing for the next phase when, as a result of the promotion of the Service, the number of users is predicted to increase.

In the first phase of the project, “Together together“, we created several contacts and established working relations with partners at the national and local levels through meetings with state institutions. The institutions that agreed to guide citizens throughout the service in order to solve their issues are:

the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy;

Vračar Municipality / Office for Gender Equality (a banner on the website of Vračar Municipality has been set www.vracar.org.rs);

The Office for cooperation with Civil Society;

The Council for combating Trafficking in Human Beings;

New Belgrade Municipality.

If there is a need for a beneficiary of the program, an agreement has been reached with over 20 civil society organizations from all over Serbia, for them to carry out the work and forward their cases to the service for free legal aid.

In addition, information and promotional material that is aligned with the current needs of all potential users of the Service are prepared.

Despite the fact that the project is in the initial stages, we are more than pleased with the interest and interaction that occurred with both the direct and indirect stakeholders. A special application for the systematization of users’ data of the Service has been created. The database is becoming more and more informative with every update.  This will contribute to a complete analysis of pertaining issues and will provide the highest quality of contribution to solving them.
