The national conference “Access of citizens to information, advice and active assistance with regard to the existing system of legal aid in Bosnia and Herzegovina” took place on 12-13 September 2013 in Sarajevo. The confernce was organised by the Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI), the Center for Human Rights in Sarajevo in coopeartion with the members of the Justice Network in BiH and ECAS. The conference was held with the technical support of USAID Justice Sector Development Project II and the European Commission.
The aim of the conference was to present the experiences and challenges in the field of consultation and active assistance as well as providing a forum for discussions in order to identify possible solutions and policy options in this area.
The roundtable was attended by leading representatives of public institutions, civil society, media and international organisations.
