On 11 May 2016 in the premises of EU Delegation to Sarajevo a meeting was held with Mr. Lars-Gunnar Wigermark, Head of EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Mr. Christian Danielsson, Director General for Enlargement at the European Commission, managing the European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations under the political guidance of Commissioner Johannes Hahn and Mr. Alberto Cammarata, Coordinator of the department of rule of law in Albania and BiH in the EC together with number of representatives of civil society.
Attendees discussed the level of cooperation between civil society organisations and public institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the policy-making process. The representatives of NGOs gave an overview while answering to vital questions including whether institutions in BiH are open to cooperation with CSOs, how are the existing mechanisms for cooperation functioning, and possible steps for refinement.
