The National Conference took place on 14th of June 2016. National civil society organizations and representatives from ministries ,universities and bar associations attended the meeting. During the conference was also attended by representatives of European Citizens Action Service, Law Centers Network and Lawyers’ Committee for Human Rights.
Kenan Hadžimusić of ECAS (Belgium) gave information on the Triple A for Citizens project implemantation and achievements. Noeleen Adams from Law Centers Network (UK) carried out a presentation of the legal system and Triple A services in the UK. Milena Vasić of YUCOM shared information on the legal aid in Serbia and services that YUCOM provides for citizens.
Murat Yalkın Union of Bars gave a presentation on the Legal Aid Practices for Access to Justice for all in Turkey — SILA Project recently being implemented. He also supplied information of legal aid supplied by Bar associations. Seda Akço of Hümanist Grup reflected on the Project run by their CSO on Citizens Assistance Services.
Özgür Tek of STGM shared the results and findings of the newly carried out survey on Triple A services and the advocacy roadmap. The participants contributed with their remarks and proposals to the roadmap.
