3A Mentoring program in the scope of Triple A for Citizens was carried out on 13-14th of June 2016 in Ankara, Turkey. It was preformed by YUCOM, Noeleen Adams, the Triple A Capacity Building expert and ECAS.
The mentoring program was designed in order to define and improve the quality of services provided by Women’s Solidarity Foundation and Association for Solidarity with the Freedom Deprived Juvenile.
Women’s Solidarity Foundation provides social, legal, and psychological counselling to women survivors of violence, free of charge. The foundation records the information of the women for every application received and using SPSS, produce statistical data and prepare annual activity reports of the Counselling Center.
Association for Solidarity with the Freedom Deprived Juvenile Öz-Ge Der is a member from Turkey of CHI (Child Helpline International).“ Gençlik Destek Hattı (GDH)” Youth Support /Helpline is aiming at providing an alternative venue for adolescence who may need to talk, seek advice.
The main focus of the mentoring g was on client applications, data entry, documentation and record keeping and on how to obtain statistics from these records and use them for advocacy.
